The bar closes. We stand outside, the lights from inside spilling out into the cold, dark night. The group discusses how each member will get home. Cars are called and routes are mapped out. It is time to say goodbye. Our body is enveloped with hugs and the air is filled with ‘This was so fun! I really needed this’ and ‘We have to do this again soon!’ and ‘Text me when you get home’. When it can't be delayed any further, we walk from the warm light of the bar and begin to make our way home.
